Atlantic Beach is beautiful. The beaches are nice and clean, with plenty of seashells to go around. We stayed at the DoubleTree Hotel, we drive to places for the most part, but you can walk to stores nearby such as Dairy Queen and Dollar General. There's also a town park with a playground and splash pad for the little ones. Within that park there's also a mini golf place. We also went to the Atlantic Beach boardwalk, much smaller than what I expected but it's also a beach with volleyball nets and showers to rinse off the sand from your body. There's also an ice shop nearby too that sells great frozen icees
