Lawton Discount Bookings with Accommodation Michigan

The city im sure is based on families visiting boot camp graduates. So do not waste your money on days inn. We had other family at the castle inn I would have suggested that over where my family stayed.

Went to Medicine Park. Highly recommend that location. Tried to go to Meers restaurant but was closed Friday at 5:30 pm. Ate at Riverside cafe, 4 star, old Plantation 4 star. Did not care for the aquarium but kids would like it. Would highly recommend the visitor center at Wichita Mountains wildlife refuge. Drive up Mt. Scott the views are outstanding. Also go to the Holy City.

The best thing about Lawton is its location to Fort Sill. That is the only reason I was there. I feel like businesses should work more closely and show more empathy with military families. I would definitely ask if your hotel has backup generators in case of power outage, also ask for covered parking to protect your vehicle against storm damage. Mike's sports bar and grill was a nice place to have a meal and a drink. Small town feel, easy to get around.

Do your research on your location, the neighborhoods can be low income with high crime. The Comfort Suites is in a good location, but not clean and the outside doors don’t lock, so anyone can come into the hotel from the side entrances. Seriously, the Fort Sill base and all it has to offer is the best thing about Lawton, OK

Lawton is my home town and is co-located with Ft. Sill, the home of the Field Artillery. There are multiple museums on base, including where the Great Apache Warrior Geronimo was held after his capture. There are a few local restaurants you should try while you are there: Back Porch, Los Tres Amigos.

The main problem with our stay was the "breakfast", No Oatmeal. No Coffee, No sugar. I noticed on images of the hotel the breakfast would be minimal, with instant oatmeal and granola bars. But there was no oatmeal our entire visit, and when mentioned to staff, they needed to contact "corporate" to figure out how to get more stocked. There was no real sugar for coffee, only 3 types of chemical sweetners. The last 3 days of our visit there was no coffee because the machine was broke. Also no quick help from staff to fix the issue. Other than breakfast, it would have been nice to get a change of towels after 2/3 days into our 5 day stay. And it would have been nice to have the room vacumed after the workers cleaned the filter on the A/C. The staff was friendly and approachable, just not action oriented to help fix issues.
