Room is actually a mini suite. Bedroom had two beds. The other room had a sofa pullout, a bathroom and a mini kitchen. The breakfast was great and the attention of the te people that were there was amazing.

Beautiful breach that is very quiet, many of the people on the beach are locals. Melbourne is primarily a residential community. The beaches are clean and wide, the cool breeze off the ocean is perfect on hot days. I was able to watch a rocket launch from the beach (SpaceX) a remarkable sight. Lots of great restaurants and a market with row after row of wines, deli foods, take-out deep-dish pizza, meat ball subs and Philadelphia steak sandwiches plus plus. I didn't have one negative dining experience over the 7 days I was there, something for everybody.

The city has a small town relaxed feeling yet there's plenty of places to eat. My wife and I are planning on revisiting Mebourne and we only plan on staying at The Hyatt of Melbourne especially since it's only a 5-minute walk from the airport to the hotel and that's no exaggeration.

The beach is terrible is for surf airs and the Room looks like you have a balcony and it is not. There is not restaurant the meal was served in the Bar. I will not come back to that Hotel. The food is terrible, thanks god I asked for the sauces on the site, they meal is like a desert, it is extremity sweet,

Good for young families, couples,not so much! Go to a nice hotel, where you don’t have to strip the beds and start the wash, and if you are there during garbage and recycle days, they ask you to put the cans out. LOL!!!

We came to Melbourne on our way back home to Michigan September 6. We had no idea what to expect so we grabbed a free area map from our hotel and set out to explore. We hit up a couple of outdoor restaurants for tacos and local drinks and then headed to the beach to walk on the shore and put our feet in the water. The waves were warm and super wavy so be careful but it is beyond beautiful and well worth the few unplanned hours spent looking for seashells, watching surfers and just enjoying the scenery. We were there on a Tuesday and there were hardly any people for as long as the eye can see in both directions. Just a few speckled families, individuals or couples exploring here and there but not packed at all. It was a perfect day! Melbourne is a hidden gem for travel and we will totally come back just to stay here longer versus passing through only for one day.
