Bruce was our guide, he gave us a very comprehensive overview of the areas on the way to the Grand Canyon and our stop in Williams on Route 66, then through Flagstaff. Excellent day. Couldn’t ask for a better guide.

Had a horrible experience with this tour. we were the last to board, along with an elderly couple. Ended up in the back row that had no ability to put the seat back and no leg room as you were on the back tires. Seats in front of us extended right into us so we were so cramped and uncomfortable. On top of that we were onto of the other couple. It is about a 4 hour drive each way so it was works that a seat on Spirit airlines. JUST HORRIBLE! Money hungry grubs, booking the van to full capacity. It was even more annoying knowing we paid the same as the other riders who could spread out and enjoy the views, I could only see a hint out a window. We can't even explain how much we hated this trip and I am going to dispute the charge on my credit card. Also, driver was nice and friendly but drove horrible. He was on top of the cars in front of him...Tailgating trucks in dangerous areas. He was speeding most of the time. Very dangerous driver. If I had young kids I would have gotten off.

Our guide Jason was so good. Very informative on the areas we went through with the history of the various scenes. We were picked up at our resort in Scottsdale and delivered back, which was great. Jason was very knowledgeable on the Grand Canyon and history of it. Loved our trip. Will recommend Detours for any excursions.

So I don’t really recall why I booked this tour but I’m so very glad that I did. It was awesome. There were three of us and the guide, Mac. Who was excellent by the way. He picked me up at my hotel and we started talking immediately. He is very full of knowledge about the city and the state. He was funny. He was a safe driver. It was a fantastic tour from the moment I got into the car until I got back out at my hotel. We were all over the city, including Wrigley Mansion( love love this story) we drove onto an Indian reservation. We were in Old Town Scottsdale for two hours. Which I spent all of it at The Mission. Excellent. By the way. I learned so much during this tour. I highly highly recommend this your company. This guide. I spoke with Jeff, owner, at least twice. He called to confirm pick up time at hotel and then as a follow up to the tour to inquire about how it was. This is excellent customer service. Small local company. Support them. They are awesome. They need us.

The itinerary that was in the tour description was not followed. We were looking forward to seeing Hole in the Rock and the Arizona State Museum and they were not even mentioned. I found it very uncomfortable when the guide offered to take us to his house at the end of the tour to see "how a real Arizonian lives."

We enjoyed Tracey, our driver and guide. He was friendly, knowledgeable and shared so many interesting facts about the areas we visited. Our tour was small, so he talked to each of us and answered all questions. Traffic in Phoenix is heavy, so the tour gave us a chance to see some of the city and decide where we wanted to return on our own. Tracey had lots of suggestions. We really enjoyed the model railroad being built at the capital.

Had a very pleasant day driver was knowledgeable and friendly. We were surprised by many of the sites especially the monument park. Would suggest this to everyone.

This was an awwsome tour, I would recomend it to anyone. The pickup location was just about 5 miles from where I was staying. The Tour Guide was very knowlegeable.

Tour could have been about 4 hours rather than 5-6 as we spent almost an hour each way picking up and dropping off other tour participants. Since we were first to be picked up, we were last to be dropped off. Not many highlights to see in Phoenix -- spent 2 hours having lunch and walking around Old Scottsdale -- other 2 hours was driving from point to point.
