Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Ghosts & Gravestones, 200 Atlantic Ave, Boston, MA 02110-3615

Step aboard the trolley of the doomed and join your host, a 17th-century grave digger, cursed with a sentence of eternal damnation. This wretched creature is doomed to travel the streets of Boston and relay the stories of the unfortunate souls he encountered and the macabre events he had been witness to during his purgatory.

Hear about Boston's most sinister characters - from the Angel of Death to the king of all killers - the Boston Strangler. Learn about all the haunts that call the "Hub" their home. But that's not all! Step inside two of the oldest burying grounds in Boston for a walking tour you will never forget. Learn the significance of much of the imagery found in these 17th century burial grounds and the famous and not so famous (but even more interesting) occupants therein.

Visit Copp's Hill Burying Ground in the North End, nestled atop the tallest point in one of Boston's oldest historic districts. Here you will visit the final resting place of Cotton Mather, a man famous for his "intimate" involvement with the Salem Witch Trials. Then to the Granary Burying Ground where you will visit the final resting places of many of the famous heroes of the American Revolution including John Hancock, Paul Revere and Samuel Adams.

Remember that half of the tour is walking, so comfortable shoes are recommended (so you don't become "dead" on your feet)!

The tour was not good. The tour guide was trying too hard to be funny which she wasn’t and try to play off a crowd which was not very entertaining. The guide who was training was actually a little better but tried to hard. When people didn’t laugh she said “I guess you don’t get it” I feel as much info could have been shared it was trying to to a funny tour and not a ghostly tour. I have done this tour previously and it was good. Definitely not a recommendation now.

Our host was extremely difficult to hear because she wore two masks. I understand the need for safety but when paying for a tour it would be. Ice to hear the content. The sound system on the bus was scratchy with her masks on and on the walking part outside I could not hear her at all. I expected to hear more content about the Boston Strangler and other ghost stories but the parts that I did hear seemed fake and extremely rehearsed. We did have one part of the tour at the second cemetery where another person took over. He was great- loud, entertaining, engaging. Took the tour at 8:00 on Dec. 11

Mercy, our guide, really tried her best to keep us engaged and entertained. Sadly, the tour fell short of it being ghostly at all. While boarding, Mercy, tried to scare us with random dolls and it just didn't really connect. Just random scare attacks with no story or history to tie it all in. Didn't make any sense. We then visited two graveyards and were given historical facts about a couple of people that were buried at each location. I would like to have had the opportunity to roam and check out the grounds of the graveyards. The glow of the city coupled with the cold and fog would've been ideal for ghost hunting. Unfortunately, once our guide completed her spiel, we had to leave immediately. The second leg of the tour with Grieves was the worse. They may have been new or something; I was not engaged at all. Was definitely ready for the tour to be over at this point. Beside the fact that Mercy had provided some historical context, I would not recommend this tour as a "ghost" tour. I'm really not sure how this tour has so many great reviews as that is not the same experience I had.

This tour was over the top cheesy with no redeeming qualities. I've done haunted tours in many cities, foreign and domestic. There's usually quite a lot of interesting history shared along the way, and it's not generally gimmicky. This was beyond ridiculous. We left as soon as the bus stopped again after the first site. I wish we would not have gotten back on at all, but we were hoping for something redeeming along the way. It never materialized. Don't waste your time.

The tour was amazing led by very talented actors. Unfortunately, I don’t remember the name of the young guy who presented the history of Granary Burying ground but the way he presented it… my child and I are still quoting him. Extremely talented! 😍

The characters made it fun . The stories in between the stops were interesting . It was cold and was happy to see the trolley was heated.

This was a really fun trip that we decided to do after spending the day doing the Old Town Trolley tour. We had a lot of fun on this trip and our guide did a great job. He was funny, interacted with everyone, and did a good job telling us the ghost stories of Boston. It was kind of a chilly night but this trip was well worth it!

The energetic and knowledgeable “ghost plague nurse” actress, Mercy, gave a spooktacular show as we rode along a handful of sites of tragedy and heard spooky campfire stories. We stopped at two cemeteries and got out and walked through them, stopping at a few graves to hear interesting stories and take photos. Great for any age above 7 that loves ghost stories and facts about serial killers.

The stories were very good. We had a good time. The comedy was hilarious! Definitely would recommend if kids are apart of vacation.

Very pricey for what was given. Wish there had been more history given about the actual locations we were driving thru. 2nd graveyard tour wasn't very interesting.
