I had a great time during my experience with the trolley tour. Captain Matty and Bunker were two of my trolley drivers and each of them made the experience all the more memorable. While riding along from stop to stop, so much information and fun facts are given about Boston and its history. Captain Matty and Bunker have such funny commentary.
Magoo was our tour guide. He has a passion for history. You really get to see all historical places with tidbits at each stop. We purchased a two day ticket and are on our way to actually hop on and hop off today. So much history in Boston!
The great mix of contemporary tidbits with classic Boston history was a pure delight. Despite December weather, trolley was warm with their plastic windows. We had two drivers Skipper, a retired engineer who knew his buildings and styles..great. Then we had Tiger, a raconteur with a wild sense of humor. Both clearly adore their city. We used coupon from hotel brochure to snag a discount on our excursion. This is worth every nickel if one is a first time visitor.
The overall tour information was good and the stops were great. The platinmum package did not come with the cruis so I had to purchase tickets for that separately which was very misleading from the description. Also, the trolleys came every 30 minutes from a stop. We ended up doing more walking between attractions than anticipated because it was shorter than waiting 30 minutes for the next trolley.
