3.5ish hours walking in downtown Santa Barbara, learning about some of interesting history and of course eat. We have a variety of tacos and drinks (alcoholic and non) from local restaurants. Both alcoholic and non alcoholic options available.

Lunch - It's more of a Happy Linner tour (late lunch/early dinner/Happy Hour time) - 5 tasting locations (3 alcohol tastings included), walking, history and fun!

What a fun idea this was. I did not know what to expect. The tour was fun and just about the right length, the information and history was just enough, and the tacos were a perfect amount of food and yummy. My favorite was the stewed goat with cheese tortilla taco. Don’t underestimate all the great salsas you get try. Worth while tour, for sure.

One of the most fun ways to spend the afternoon in Santa Barbara! Nancy, the guide, was incredible and mixed Santa Barbara history with fun trivia about the places where we were going. Each restaurant had unique offerings and the afternoon was perfectly curated to leave me and my group with a completely well rounded experience. The walking was a perfectly manageable distance for all physical activity levels and the restaurants were spaced out so well that none of us felt overloaded when going to the next space. I’ll be dreaming of all of the delicious food and drink I got to have until I get to go again!

This was my first time on the Not Just Taco Tuesday Tour and it will most definitely not be the last! I am a local yet we went to places that I have never been before! Each spot was absolute perfection. The drink pairings were also my favorite :) Nancy was our tour guide and she was great! I learned so much about downtown, and even some history on tacos! I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting or even if you live in town! You will not be disappointed!

The entire experience;margies, taquitos,various tacos 🌮, micheladas, horchata and lastly chips n salsa were all delicious. Who knew there were so many ways to prepare tacos! Each restaurant we visited presented their version AND taco bout variety...meats or veggies, each so yummy!!! The margaritas, michelada, sangria & horchatas were amazing :) Ending at Rudy's, we enjoyed churros & caramel sauce. Nancy, our tour guide, was fantastic. Her knowledge of Santa Barbara history, the backstory of the restaurants, and some fun facts kept us entertained for sure! The time spent at each place was well managed. I highly recommend this Not Just Taco Tuesday tour! Come hungry, leave full! I won't eat dinner this evening...maybe just kick back with a glass of vino watching TNF. Cheers to Evan, the owner, for adding this taco tour to Taste Santa Barbara Food Tours!

My taco tour was such a fun experience. I'm a longtime local of Santa Barbara and not only did I eat delicious food from several local eateries I had not yet been to but I also learned tons of facts about my beloved town that I did not know! The guide was upbeat, knowledgeable and on schedule (much appreciated). She told me not to fill up on the chips and that was good advice. Over the course of the three+ hours, I ate 7 tacos, 2 churros, 2 margaritas and my cup runeth over in horchata. Every meal was superb and the drinks were delicious too. I got home, changed my name to Taco and went straight to bed :) Highly recommend this experience for anyone visiting SB and any longtime local who is looking to change up the routine. Great staff, great food, great afternoon!

Amazing! Great experience where you can can try a range of tacos. How did I not know I love potato tacos! It was filling so come prepared to eat and enjoy Santa Barbara. Our tour guide was fantastic and mixed in a bit of history as we walked down State street. Would definitely recommend and would also do it again.

What a lovely afternoon spent eating delicious tacos paired with yummy drinks! The owner, Evan, made the whole process easy and fun to be a part of and Nancy, the host for the tour, was an absolute joy to listen and learn all about Santa Barbara from. You will not leave this tour disappointed or hungry! :P My personal favorite was our stop at Yona Redz serving up the tastiest Birria taco with mouth watering consume sauce that you MUST bathe your taco in! On top of everything else mentioned above you end your tour with the most delicious churros from Rudy’s paired with caramel sauce and horchata.. I can’t think of a better ending to an already amazing adventure. If you are new to Santa Barbara or a local I highly recommend you take an afternoon to enjoy all this experience has to offer!

This Taco Tuesday tour is so fun and delicious! We got to try tacos from 4 different restaurants in Santa Barbara. My favorite tacos were the tacos from Yona Redz! But it wasn’t just tacos! We got to try two different margaritas, two different horchatas, sangria, churros and more! We were also given a ton of historical information about Santa Barbara. Nancy was our tour guide and she was so fun and very knowledgeable. Would highly recommend going on this tour the next time you’re in Santa Barbara!

What a fun afternoon spent tasting the most wonderful tacos and accompanying drinks. Each location had something special from the margaritas to the yummy salsa to the delicious sauces and authentic Mexican cuisine. I especially loved the sauce at Yona’s and the sweet finger licking churros paired with horchata at the end. So many interesting facts along the way about Santa Barbara’s rich history that I would have never guessed. Nancy is funny and an amazing guide, walking us through all the fun food and facts along the way. Would love to come back and take visiting guests or take a date on the tour. I’m glad we came on an empty stomach because we devoured every bite!
