Our private group of 6 couples traveled to Louisville from Florida to explore the Bourbon Trail. Bob, who was our guide for three full tour days, is a Certified Tourism Ambassador and an Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels. He could have given the tours himself! He was fun, professional, flexible and knowledgeable. On the suggestions of the owner of CopperTop Tours we visited 3-4 distilleries per day in the Bardstown, Lebanon, and Versailles areas of Kentucky. His recommendations were spot on and our days were busy, but not rushed, and we had a degree of flexibility built in to help us see more than just what was scheduled or expected. I am also a travel adviser and would 100% recommend using CopperTop Tours for the best in service, comfort, knowledge and a piece of old Kentucky hospitality...they cannot be beat!

Michael was excellent today… what a wonderful bourbon tour for my best friends 60 th birthday celebration. We were a party of four that toured 3 bourbon distilleries and had lunch. We did a full day tasting, and CopperTop organized all of our stops and had a great Bachelor Party. When you google “bourbon tours” for Bachelor Parties, one main firm shows up. I tried dealing with them originally, and felt like CopperTop spent the time to ensure the entire day would be great for the Bachelor. The team at CopperTop tried everything to get each distillery we wanted, and was successful with all but one of them (Buffalo Trace is almost impossible to get a tour for the exact date/time you want). I would highly recommend the CopperTop team to anyone that is looking for a personalized and enjoyable tour to the Bourbon trail.

We did a full day tour with Copper Top Tours for a birthday guy's trip and it was absolutely first in class. Copper Top Tours had all the tours and tastings aranged so we just walked in and they were ready for us. There were six of us and the van arranged for us was perfect. Lunch was arranged at a winery which was covered in the price of our tour and was exceptional. The tour was about so much more than just the booze, our guide was very knowledgeable about the history or the area which made the whole day very interesting and a lot of fun. We will definitely come back and bring our wives and we will definitely use Copper Top Tours when we do.

Absolutely loved the tour, the owner Tommy set it up and crafted every detail to our group of 10’s likes and needs. Our tour guide Bob did the same. We took back country drives to our destinations and Bob gave us a history of the area and of Kentucky Bourbon. Bob is not just knowledgeable, he’s genuine and cares that you’re enjoying the tour. The tour at Three Boys’ farm had us drinking Bourbon right from the barrel. Awesome and worth the price.

We had a group of 9 that met at the KOA for a Bourbon Trail and Knob Creek Machine Gun Shoot. Covid put a damper on the fun. But, along came Cooper Top Tours and our guide Bob White and all was right in the world. Bob took us on a great adventure and was an excellent guide. We will be back next year and will definitely plan another adventure with Bob.

I can’t say enough about this place!! We started off in the gift shop and got to meet the Master distiller Steve who was a gem and would have talked bourbon with us all day! We then had reservations for a Shaken and Stirred class with Sam and it was SO FUN!! We made two cocktails and then got to see some of the barrels. We learned a ton and Sam was very knowledgeable and passionate about her job. We then had dinner at the restaurant and our server Dorothy was excellent!! The food was fantastic and the cocktails were so yummy!! I would HIGHLY recommend coming here and I can’t wait to go back!

We went to Bardstown for 2 days. We knew we wanted to some bourbon tasting and didn’t want anyone to worry about driving. And it was a Sunday! Reached out to CopperTop Tours and made arrangements with Tommy for a Sunday bourbon tour! He created a great itinerary for us. We hit 3 distilleries and had lunch during our 5 hour tour. As soon as we got settled on the van we were offered some delicious chocolate bourbon cream. During our quick drive to our first distillery we learned a bit about Bardstown and it’s just. We ate lunch that was pre-ordered and picked up by Tommy during our drive to Makers Mark in Loretto. Lunch was fantastic! After the second tour we had time for a quick stop at a new distillery. At each of the distilleries we learned something different about bourbon - from tasting to making! And then we were dropped back off at the place we were staying. Tommy was easy to work with over the phone and was just as easy to work with in person! We all enjoyed it and would do it again!
