This was well worth the cost because you get a one-on-one tour from a knowledgeable and considerate guide who uses humor and personal stories to keep your interest in true historical facts. Neal is a native of Boston and knows how to communicate facts in an entertaining and fun way. Would recommend this tour 100%. Our guide was easy to hear and understand and brought history alive as he covered so many past events and geography in four hours. We did walk the freedom trail but he was sensitive to our walking ability, our need for food, water and bathroom breaks. We drove to see so many other parts of Boston. Prompt, courteous and considerate along with Neal’s extensive knowledge and love for the city made our day a success and a joy. Great insight to the city and a fun filled day.

What a delightful 4 hours with Neal, born and raised in Boston, who entertained us with the “real” truth behind some historical stories. We walked the Freedom Trail and drove to many other sites in all the sections of Boston. He communicated as soon as we booked and we talked the day before the tour. He arrived promptly and was flexible with our walking ability, need for food, cold water in his vehicle, need for bathroom breaks, and our interests and comfort. He has a great sense of humor and as a former teacher, he communicates his extensive knowledge and personal stories, in a nice understandable voice

The Tour-in-Four is a absolute must do.. Our tour guide Neal was amazing. His personality and energy was refreshing and fun. Everyone in our group enjoyed the time on the tour. I can not imagine coming to Boston, with all the rich history and attractions and not booking this tour. Neal was so full of information and his teaching style was not dry or boring. He came across as a grandfather, that you would gather around just to hear stories of the good ole days. Even if your not into history, you soon started to show some interest in it. That's how well Neal was as our guide. There is quite abit of walking so wear comfortable shoes. But you won't even notice how much walking you did, because your so busy enjoying and seeing the sights.
